Performance
In the 2021 model year, the standard 2.0-liter
inline four-cylinder (I4) is more powerful than ever before. Gaining 66 more
horsepower than the one on the first-gen model, Simi Valley customers will be
happy to know that the TLX's I4 engine enables greater acceleration ability,
and actually surpasses the might of the first-gen's optional 3.5-liter V6.
Of course, if you want more power, you can
spring for the turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that available. The standard 10-speed
automatic transmission combines the smoothness of multiple gears, convenience
of steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, and excitement of a manual-like Sequential
SportShift shifter. While front-wheel drive is standard, you can choose Acura's
SH-AWD system instead to have all wheels engaged and maximize traction on
slippery surfaces.
Technology
The TLX keeps you entertained with a robust multimedia
system that combines components such as Bluetooth® audio streaming, a USB port
for connecting a portable device, Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® for
smartphone integration, and seven speakers. Safety is also boosted with the
presence of several driver-assistance technologies, which include:
- Automatic Emergency Braking
Â
- Forward Collision Warning
Â
- Automatic High Beams
Â
- Road Departure Warning
Â
- Adaptive Cruise Control
Â
- Lane Departure WarningÂ
- Lane Keep Assist
