Silver Star Auto Group in Thousand Oaks Rebrands as AndersonAutos

Silver Star Auto Group, part of the Anderson Holdings family of companies, has changed its name to AndersonAutos.  The company's rebranding effort includes significant updates to its online sales platform and will allow for a more seamless customer experience at its Thousand Oaks auto dealerships.

Founded by John E. Anderson in 1956 with the purchase of a Hamm's beer distributorship in downtown Los Angeles, Anderson Holdings now includes automotive dealerships, a diversified real estate portfolio, an insurance business and beverage distributorships in California, Hawaii and the US and British Virgin Islands.

Now a 40-year-old business, AndersonAutos includes the brands Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Honda, Acura, Land Rover, Jaguar, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Sprinter and AMG.

In addition to receiving the personalized in-store attention that AndersonAutos has always delivered, customers will now be able to browse new and used vehicles online and choose their preferred sales associate.  Used vehicle customers will also benefit from a one-price, no-haggling system which utilizes real-time transactional data from across the LA metro market to ensure pricing that is factual and data-based; an available five-day, 300-mile money back guarantee with no hidden shipping or restocking fees; and the option of a 90-day, 4,000 mile used car limited warranty.

"We are extremely pleased with the opportunity to reintroduce ourselves to the Thousand Oaks community under the AndersonAutos name," said William Anderson, Executive Chairman & CEO of Anderson Holdings and son of founder John E. Anderson.  "We recognize that today's knowledgeable consumer demands an extensive set of options when considering the purchase of a car. We are excited about the recent changes we have made to better position ourselves as the Thousand Oaks dealership of choice."

Commenting on the company's new sales associate selection option, Jeremy Lux, President of AndersonAutos, said, "Research shows that how well customers connect with a sales or service person highly influences where they buy. Highlighting our associates not only helps shoppers connect with us, it gives us the opportunity to showcase and grow our talented people."
